Student Leadership
CBU Mobilization is focused on developing students as world Christians. While no journey is the same, we have structured our international experiences to build on one another. This progression allows students the opportunity to grow in knowledge, skills, and experiences that are essential for engaging in God’s global mission and leading others to do the same. As a result, Encounter Student Leader candidates must have participated on an ISP team before applying for Student Leadership.
Student leaders work closely with faculty/staff/alumni team leaders to nurture and invest in new ISP participants. Student Leaders grow as they share leadership responsibilities, model healthy discipleship, and cross-cultural interaction, and leverage their previous training and overseas experience. Student leaders receive a $500 scholarship toward the cost of their project.
