"Soon there will be no one left alive who personally lived through the Holocaust.

So, it becomes even more important to remember those terrible years and how they began, and to remember how cruelty, hatred and discrimination led to violence, death and destruction"

-- Norman Finkelstein, Remember Not to Forget: A Memory of the Holocaust

The Nie Wieder! (German for 'Never Again!') Collection began in 1999 as an effort by California Baptist University professor Wayland Marler to bring a higher level of awareness about the tragedy of the Holocaust to fellow faculty, staff, and students.

The goal of this collection is to contribute to a better understanding of the Holocaust and its effects on our lives, along with supporting a program at CBU that will include seminars on the Holocaust and courses on the history of genocide.

The Nie Wieder! collection is located in the Annie Gabriel Library's "Victorian Room". To find it, bear left upon entering the library building and continue past the print journals section. You will see the double-door entry to the "Victorian Room" straight ahead.
