Ladies' Night

Description: It's time for a girls only event held at the Rec Center! Ladies, come enjoy several fun events including female led fitness events as well as personal instruction on the various resources in the Rec Center. It will be a night centered on building female strength and dignity. Come experience it for yourself!

Olympic Weight Lifting

Description: Here is your chance to learn the best techniques to lift like a real athlete or just improve what you already know! This workshop will include instruction on barbell and dumbbell snatch and hang cleans!

Women's Self Defense

Description: The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. Sign-up at the Recreation Center. $25 deposit required and returned at the completion of the course.
