New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is an on-campus event that introduces new students to various services they will need to access at CBU. While at Orientation, you will have an opportunity to get questions answered from staff representing a variety of offices, including Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Academic Advising, Residence Life and Campus Life.

This summer, we will be offering six (6) dates for First-Time Freshmen and four (4) dates for Transfer students to choose from.

Students living more than four (4) hours away will have the option to register for their courses through an online process and will attend an on-campus orientation event on August 31 - the day before Welcome Weekend begins.

Registration for New Student Orientation will begin on April 1, 2017.

Things to do Before Registering for Classes

FERPA Form: By law, we need to collect this from every CBU student. California Baptist University is unable to release any personal educational information to any one other than the student without prior written consent. This form grants or denies permission for CBU to discuss student information with, for example, a parent or guardian who is named on the form. Please complete and bring to Fall Orientation: FERPA form

Tuition and Fee Agreement: This form gives CBU permission to apply your grants and scholarships to your CBU fees. Please complete this form and bring it to Fall Orientation: Tuition and Fee Agreement.
