God's Favorite, loosely based on the Book of Job, takes place in a Long Island mansion in which resides a pious, God-fearing tycoon named Joe Benjamin, his long-suffering wife, their prodigal son and pair of kooky twins. When a visitor appears, Joe faces one challenge after another as the visitor puts him through all manner of temptations to get him to renounce God. When Joe stands firm, the visitor admits defeat ... and asks for a letter of recommendation.

OKLAHOMA- written by Rodgers & Hammerstein

Oklahoma! is the first musical collaboration written by Rodgers & Hammerstein.  Set in the Oklahoma Territory outside the town of Claremore in 1906, it tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams.  The story includes other endearing characters such as Ado Annie, Will Parker & Ali Hakim.  The original Broadway production opened on March 31, 1943.  It was a box-office smash and ran for an unprecedented 2,212 performances, later enjoying award-winning revivals, national tours, foreign productions and an Academy Award wining 1955 film adaptation.
