California Baptist University students have several options available to them if they are interested in experiencing the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) during their college experience.
California Baptist University conducts Army ROTC courses and some limited training on our campus. Students can enroll in Army Military Science courses at CBU just like they would enroll in any other CBU courses and obtain applicable academic credit once courses are successfully completed. The Army ROTC Scholarship options are very attractive as they provide for all tuition, fees, some book expenses, and a monthly stipend. In addition, students that win a full ROTC scholarship (Army or Air Force) are eligible for the California Baptist University-provided Room and Board Match. Click here to visit the CBU Financial Aid Home Page.
Students that are interested in the Army ROTC options should contact Captain Phil Henry (CBU’s Assistant Professor of Military Science) at 951-343-4954 or phenry@calbaptist.edu. Please visit the CBU Army ROTC Page for more information.
Air Force ROTC is available for CBU students as extension courses at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Interested students should contact CSUSB Air Force ROTC office at 909-537-5442 or www.afrotc.com
Although the U. S. Marine Corps does not offer ROTC, students that are interested in becoming Marine Corps officers do have an option referred to as Marine Corps Platoon Leaders Course. For information on this option, please contact the Marine Corps Riverside Officer Selection Office at 951-248-2211, or at www.ososb.com. Additional information is also available at www.marineofficer.com
Naval ROTC is not available at California Baptist University.
