CBU’s MBA in Accounting is designed to be completed in one year by students who wish to meet the 150-hour education requirement needed for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and many other states. With a strong concentration in accounting at the graduate level, the program is designed to produce individuals who are qualified with knowledge and skills in professional accounting.
This MBA degree also prepares students with broad business and management knowledge at an advanced level for a wide range of leadership opportunities in private and public enterprises, service companies, government and nonprofit organizations, and public accounting firms. Application Requirements
To be accepted into CBU’s MBA in Accounting program, an applicant needs a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university. Applicants need to demonstrate the ability to succeed in accounting at the graduate level by completing undergraduate accounting courses in intermediate, cost, tax, and auditing with grades that are at least at a “B” average.
