As one of the first streaming classical music service for libraries that enables listening and learning at library and home computers, CML offers a continually growing music collection, currently consisting of over 19,000 classical music tracks (not works) from over 500 composers, as well as thousands of cross-referenced program notes, suggested playlists, biographies and images. CML continues to add to its collection by licensing music labels in the U.S., U.K. and Europe as well as directly from orchestras and major artists. The company is projecting a target of 50,000 recordings by the end of 2004. All music is fully licensed for both listening and downloading.
