To search for journal articles, dissertations, and other information about your topic in our databases, start by choosing one of the links from the list below in order to identify and then access a database or index that will help meet your information need.

This complete listing of all databases is useful if you are familiar with the names of databases, or wish to browse all indexes available. (Hint:Academic Search Premier is a good place to start for many research topics, and Digital Dissertations is the place to go for full-text dissertations.)

These databases are useful if your topic is multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary. Not sure where to begin your research? Start here.

Use these to find newspaper articles, broadcast transcripts, wire service stories, etc.
- Web-based Reference Materials
Dictionaries, encyclopedias, demographic statistics, governmental reports and other reference materials.
IMPORTANT: If you already have citations for particular articles that you want to obtain (including the names of the journals in which they are published), then you can search for those journals by name on our Journal Finder page.
