Examples of the oral transmission of information about Jesus:
1 Corinthians
11:23-27, “23 For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you,
that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, 24
and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body that
is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." 25 In the same way he took the
cup also, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." 26 For as often
as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he
comes. 27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in
an unworthy manner will be answerable for the body and blood of the Lord.”

Corinthians 15:3-8, “3 For I handed on to you as of first importance
what I in turn had received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance
with the scriptures, 4 and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the
third day in accordance with the scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than
five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive,
though some have died. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8
Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.”
