About the University:

学校简史

Founded in 1950, California Baptist University is affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention and is fully accredited. CBU is the only Southern Baptist college or university on the West Coast.

加州浸会大学（CBU）得到国家批准承认建立于1950年，与南加州浸信协会有着密切关系并且是西海岸唯一一所南部浸会大学。

Our 105 acre campus reflects the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.

California Baptist University's 30 buildings include the 94,800 sq.ft. Eugene and Billie Yeager Center, the state-of-the-art JoAnn Hawkins Music Building, separate men's and women's residence halls, the 96-unit Lancer Arms apartment complex for juniors and seniors, the 320-seat Wallace Book of Life Theatre, a fitness center, an aquatic center, a central classroom/administration building, the Annie Gabriel Library, and Van Dyne Gym.

California Baptist University currently has more than 340 faculty members (146 full-time), 70 percent of whom hold terminal degrees in their areas of study. The student-to-faculty ratio is 16-to-1.

Riverside, California. Located 60 miles east of Los Angeles, Riverside is a community of 290,000. Rich in its own culture and history, Riverside is also close to remarkable cultural and recreational opportunities. Ontario International Airport is about 20 minutes from campus.

The Lancers participate in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a member of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) which is made up entirely of four-year Christian colleges in California.
