1. What are the program’s entry dates and application deadline?
The BA in Interdisciplinary Studies degree-completion program offers a rolling year-round admission policy, with classes divided into 8-week sessions. Applicants may apply at the start of any 8-week session. Apply online at anytime, or apply in person during regular office hours. 2. What are the admission requirements?
The BA in Interdisciplinary Studies degree-completion program offers a simple and convenient admission process, with the following basic requirements:
There is no time limit on transferable units. With your permission CBU will request and pay for official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended.
3. What are the pre-requisites?
Student must complete English 113 and English 123.
4. How long does the program take?
The length of the program will vary for each student depending the number of transferable units. Full-time students who have completed all general education requirements, electives and pre-requisites upon entry should be able to complete the degree in 16 months.
5. When do classes meet?
Courses are offered week nights and begin at 6:00 PM. Students attending full-time typically participate in classes two nights a week.

7. Can I work while earning my degree?
Yes. The BA in Interdisciplinary Studies degree-completion program is uniquely designed for working adults, with accelerated 8-week sessions and convenient evening classes.
8. Do you offer any academic assistance?
Yes. DCP students have access to on-campus academic assistance with writing, reading, math and other academic areas. We offer one-on-one tutoring as well as access to staffed Writing and Math Centers.
9. Can I take classes concurrently at a community college?
Yes. CBU’s DCP degrees have an articulation agreement with most community colleges. Click here for a list of these colleges, as well as community college courses and units that are transferable.
10. Do you offer any career placement assistance?

11. Does this degree prepare me to become a teacher?
No. Candidates interested in teaching in the public school system must follow the curriculum set forth by California’s Board of Education and school districts.
