Lancer Medal
Purpose: To honor an alumnus who exemplifies the positive characteristics of all other alumni awards categories.
Criteria: Awardee shall: 1) show exemplary effort in maintaining alumni interest in California Baptist University; 2) be an outstanding benefactor of the University; 3) be well established and have made outstanding contributions in his/her chosen profession; 4) be active in his/her community; 5) be a positive representative of the University; 6) have graduated 20-25 years prior to nomination; 7) demonstrate Great Commission principles in his/her life.
*Note: This is a periodic award which will be awarded at the discretion of the University

Alumnus/a of the YearAward
Purpose: This prestigious alumni award honors an alumnus for outstanding contributions in his/her profession.
Criteria: Recipient should: 1) be well established in his/her chosen profession; 2) be active in his/her community; 3) be a positive representative of the University; 4) be active in church life (not necessarily Baptist); 5) have graduated at least 8-10 years prior to nomination.
