Graphic Design and Digital Media

The Graphic Design and Digital Media program at California Baptist University prepares professional graphic designers by focusing on color and composition, visual expression, print production and basic art direction skills. The program builds on these skills with additional training in conceptual thinking, creativity, problem solving, research, digital production, project management, art direction and business practices. 

The CVA Graphic Design and Digital Media program equips students to create effective professional communications using a wide variety of digital media.

CVA Graphic Design and Digital Media graduates will acquire a high-level of proficiency with the traditional and modern tools of creative graphic composition and communication. Students learn both Macintosh and PC computer platforms, with industry-standard software for print and digital design and production.

Career Opportunities

Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to start their careers as professional graphic designers in a wide range of environments including advertising agencies and in-house marketing departments.
