Prior to attending Step Ahead,
please be sure to complete the following tasks:
Online Student Data Sheet is required from every student at CBU in order to select your meal plan and confirm that you intend to live on or off campus. CBU generally requires traditional, single students under twenty-one years of age, or any student that receives institutional aid in excess of $7,500 per academic year, to live on campus. Exceptions are made for those living with parents, legal guardians, or approved relatives, upon verification of residency. Please complete and submit the Online Student Data Sheet to verify important information in your student account. An official, signed copy will be required when you arrive at Step Ahead to confirm your decisions.
Student/Parent Contact Information is required from every student at CBU without exception. This information is for official CBU purposes only and will not be distributed. Complete and submit the Student/Parent Contact Information form so we can be better equipped to serve you during your time at CBU.
CBU Emergency Alert System is also required for all students. Once you sign up for the Emergency Alert System, you will receive text messages and email communications concerning any emergencies or other necessary notifications. You can sign in using your ID number and InsideCBU password. This information will only be used by CBU and will not be distributed.
Health Insurance is required for all students at CBU enrolled in 7 units or more. If you do not have your own insurance or are not covered under your parents, you will need to purchase health insurance through CBU. Students who have health insurance coverage and choose to opt out of the student insurance plan must access the online waiver located here. On the webpage, look under "Student Access" and click on "Student Waive." You will be required to create an account and then will be directed to the waiver form. Students that do not submit proof of insurance through this online waiver will automatically be billed for health insurance. To view benefits and detailed information on the student insurance provided through CBU, click here.
Parking Permits are required for all students bringing a vehicle with them to CBU. To get your permit, first sign in to InsideCBU using your student ID number and password, and then visit the Vehicles and Permits page. New permits are required every school year, but they never require any additional fees!
