随着中国新医疗改革深入推进,中国医疗卫生机构设施条件得到明显改善,而卫生信息人才队伍建设问题却日益突出。而本项目培养的卫生信息管理专业人才是社会急需、面向医疗卫生市场的卫生信息化人才。合作办学项目美方的信息化进程一直居全球前列,信息化人才的培养走在国际领先水平。美国加州浸会大学是一所具有较高办学水平及办学特色的国外院校,特别是该校卫生保健学院的教学及师资水平。项目合作中方自2003年开设卫生信息管理专业,具有良好的教学资源。在此基础上,引入美方学校丰富的教学资源、信息化设施和先进的管理模式将使中国卫生信息化人才培养进一步与国际化接轨,从而满足中国对高素质卫生信息技术人才的需求。项目合作方在美的职业定向视为美国医疗和健康机构提供财务经营管理人员,人力资源协调与管理,跨文化医疗人员管理,长期护理管理人员,医疗项目经理和公共卫生管理人员。

 

浙江医学高等专科学校拟与美国加州浸会大学合作举办卫生信息管理专业,教学计划双方共同制定,并互相承认学分。参加本项目的学生学习时间为三年,三年期间,美国加州浸会大学教师承担的专业核心课程的门数和教学时数应当占项目全部课程和全部教学时数的三分之一以上。三年学业完成后,学生经选拔可进入美国加州浸会大学继续本科阶段的学习,并实行3+2的培养模式,在完成前三年在浙江医学高等专科学校学习的基础上,继续后两年在美国加州浸会大学的学习。后两年在美国加州浸会大学完成相应卫生保健管理专业本科课程及实习要求后,取得由加州浸会大学颁发的本科学历和学士学位证书。

 

教育教学计划概要。(1)本专业培养目标。培养既通晓外语又具有扎实专业基础的面向全球化需要的卫生信息管理专业的高端技能型人才。(2)本专业课程安排。除了通识课程之外,专业基础课程包含基础医学概论、卫生信息管理导论、临床疾病概要、计算机维修维护、医学文献检索与管理、数据库应用技术,专业核心课程包含卫生事业管理学、卫生信息系统、网络管理、疾病分类学、卫生统计与应用、流行病学、健康教育与健康促进、社会医学、预防医学。

Along with further promotion of China's new medical reform, China's medical and health institutions have recently made significant changes in the health care profession. This has made health care administration a timely issue for study.  This program is designed to develop health information management professionals trained to provide market-oriented health care. Collaborative programs with US partners will provide some of the world’s best practices in health care education.

California Baptist University is a distinctive foreign institution that has a high level of educational qualifications with specific competencies in the College of Allied Health. Zhejiang Medical College began the health information management major in 2003 and has committed considerable resources to this program. We believe that a combination of this U.S. university’s enriched teaching resources including their technological facilities and an advanced management model will provide students from China the necessary training in health care administration.  The training is designed to meet international standards and to fulfill China's demand for high-quality health administration professionals. This program with our US partner is orientated toward the development of a US Medical professional in the following areas: financial management for healthcare institutions, human resource coordination and management, cross-cultural medical personnel management, long-term care management, project management and public health medical management.

Zhejiang Medical College and California Baptist University have organized a collaborative program in Healthcare Administration. The two parties jointly developed an innovative teaching plan where credits can be accepted by both schools. Students will be participating in the program for three years in China.  California Baptist University will teach more than 1/3 of the courses during the first three years.  After completion of their first three years studies, students will continue their undergraduate studies at California Baptist University through the 3 +2 training model.  Following their three years in Zhejiang Medical College students will complete their educational experience with a final two years study at California Baptist University.  Upon completion of all coursework and internship requirements in the US, students will receive the undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration issued by California Baptist University.

Education program summary: ( 1 ) The training objectives: To develop highly skilled personnel with proficiency in foreign languages ​​and provide a solid professional and global foundation for health administration professionals ( 2 ) The curriculum design:
Students will receive general education courses as well as professional coursework in the areas of basic medicine, introduction to healthcare information management, clinical disease summary, computer repair and maintenance, medical literature retrieval and management, database application technology, professional core curriculum includes healthcare management, health information systems, network management, nosology, healthcare statistics and applications, epidemiology, health education and healthcare promotion, social medicine,  and preventive medicine.
