| As the premier performance group of the School of Music, the University Choir and Orchestra is led by nationally acclaimed conductor Dr. Judd Bonner, Dean of the School of Music. Over 150 singers and instrumentalists perform nearly 50 annual concerts in the local area and on tours as they personify Dr. Bonner’s philosophy of A Higher Standard. View Performance Itinerary |

| Women's Choir | |
| The Women’s Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Dawn Gilmore, features a beautiful blend of women’s voices in three and four-part harmony. The group’s varied repertoire includes contemporary Christian choral anthems, worship songs, spirituals, gospel music, and the classics. Members of the Women’s Choir have many performance opportunities throughout the year culminating in a two-week concert tour in May. | Male Chorale | |
| Led by Dr. Glenn Pickett, this group features that unique tonal quality that can only be found with a group of all men. Their repertoire features a wide variety of sounds in hymns, anthems, spirituals, contemporary, and gospel music that audiences of all ages will enjoy. Come hear this charismatic group. | Symphony Orchestra | |
| Performs classical literature from the Baroque period to the present. Conducted by Mrs. Noemy Wheeler, the U.S.O. performs four times per year in addition to collaborating with Choral Union on significant masterworks. | COMING SOON |
| Small Groups | |
|
The five, seven to nine-member vocal Small Groups perform in local churches and other venues several times each month. These student-led ensembles feature more contemporary songs and a commitment to ministering through music. | Concert Band | |
| The CBU Concert Band, conducted by Mr. Guy Holliday, represents an excellent opportunity for experienced instrumentalists to hone their individual skills and talents while reaching new heights as an ensemble. The Band performs works ranging from the standard concert band repertoire to exciting new pieces by the finest young composers to seasonal favorites and traditional marches—thoroughly enjoyed by all who hear them. The Band performs for a variety of university and community events, local high schools and churches, and gives a concert tour during the first week in January. View Performance Itinerary |

| Jazz Band | |
|
The CBU Jazz Band became an over-night success during their first concert in December 2003. Directed by Mr. Guy Holliday, the Jazz Band is a full-size big band performing straight-ahead jazz in a wide variety of styles: blues, ballads, swing, bebop, funk, Latin jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian sambas and bossa-novas. The Jazz Band plays great new arrangements in addition to original charts from the Count Basie Orchestra, the Buddy Rich Big Band, and Tower of Power. |

| Performing at thrilling Lancer home games, the Pep Band, led by Mr. Guy Holliday, gives instrumental students a change to provide additional excitement each time our teams add to their score. | |
