Early Childhood Studies Major

The B.A. in Early Childhood Studies (ECS) program at CBU, with a specialization in Early Childhood Intervention, prepares students to work with non-disabled and disabled children, zero to eight years of age, in diverse learning environments. Students will learn how to integrate developmental learning theories with practice in early childhood settings.

Liberal Studies Major

The B.A. in Liberal Studies (LBS) program at CBU provides students an excellent preparation for a wide variety of careers, especially those who desire to serve in the elementary classroom. In some similar programs at other schools large class sizes, limited access to professors and prolonged degree completion times are typical.

Leadership Studies Major, Minor and Certificate

Leadership Studies Dual Major (36 units) BA

Whether you are a nursing, engineering, Christian studies, or any other major, this program will deeply enhance your ability to lead in your chosen field.  To add this option, students must complete the requirements for their primary major as well as the required coursework for the Leadership major for the Leadership Studies Major to be awarded.

Leadership Studies Minor (18 units) BA

The minor equips students with the foundational knowledge and skills to effectively serve in a variety of formal and informal leadership roles. The minor is designed to enhance students’ competitiveness in the labor market as a strategic complement to any major.

~ Leadership Certificate (12 units)

The certificate equips students with the foundational knowledge and skills to effectively serve in a variety of formal and informal leadership roles.
