American Sign Language Interpreter (Temp)
California Baptist Univeristy is looking for American Sign Language Interpreters whose role is to translate lectures and classroom interactions in all classes in which the assigned student(s) requiring such services is enrolled at CBU. Placement is contingent upon the amount of experience and skill displayed in a panel interview as well as institutional and student fit. Compensation is dependent upon experience. Interpreters must be able to demonstrate the competency needed to effectively translate various course material to students. Knowledge of the Interpreter’s Code of Ethics & Deaf Culture and previous experience interpreting at the university level is prefered. Flexible availablitity is necessary.
