Joe Fix

Bio: Joe Fix attended Cal Poly Pomona and graduated with a B.S. in Behavioral Science in 1993. He has lived in Scottsdale, Az since 1996 where he worked for Bally Total Fitness for 7 yrs as a Personal Trainer and facility manager. He opened up his own Personal Training business and ran that for the last 10 yrs! He has trained Professional athletes, Celebrities and just everyday Moms and Dads! He is I.F.P.A. certified and has an extensive background in nutrition and keeps up on the ever changing field of Fitness!

I don't believe the gym is only for muscle heads. Fitness is all about increasing one's physical and mental wellness by being active and healthy. As a personal trainer it is my goal to help people become more healthy by engaging in fun exercises in a positive and upbeat environment. Yes, regular exercise can be challenging, but the best things in life are challenging.

A Holistically healthy lifestyle is key; addressing four main areas consisting of Physical, Mental, social, and spiritual needs. Neither of these should be neglected or left unaddressed. Physical fitness and a high nutrient packed diet both play key roles in living a healthy lifestyle. There is always time to address these aspects of life. If something is of importance then time WILL be made to focus on that very thing. We do ALL to glorify God, so when specifically speaking about physical fitness we always work hard and give our best effort.

Living an active lifestyle is important to me. Fitness gives us the ability to strengthen our bodies so they can do more for us, not just in a physical meaning like, lifting more, but from a health stand point as well. The healthier our bodies are, the more they can do and withstand. I think engaging in physical activity daily will bring a longer, healthier, and happier lifestyle.
