The following assignments are based on the ballots received per the lottery established by my choosing 1000 as the organizing priority number. While a few of you may be a tad disappointed in that you did not receive your first choice of case or team member, all of you received assignments with cases or persons designated as preferred.
If you wish to swap positions, bargaining is permitted under the following strict conditions: (1) swaps must be voluntary and agreed by all parties on both teams; (2) all swaps must be arranged and communicated to me for final approval no later than the end of class on Monday, Dec 4th; (3) no one may simply leave one group to join another, even if that team currently has fewer than four members.
The only unilateral option anyone might exercise is to leave a group and to enter into a formal contract with me to write up an individual assignment. This, too, must be arranged no later than the end of class, Monday, Dec 4th.
"Full outline format" means that you are expected to provide a comprehensive outline of the case, using only complete sentences rather than phrases and incomplete sentence fragments. Follow the format and instructions provided, below, as a template for your preparations.
Based upon your written outline, you should prepare an oral presentation to the class, detailing -- in ~15-20 minutes -- the three parts noted above. Handouts and other visual aids are encouraged, but not required. If you do need presentation equipment, such as a computer data projector, videotape setup, or overhead projector, you must let me know at least 3 days in advance (i.e. by 12:00 noon, Friday, Dec 15) so a formal request can be made with audiovisual services in time for the presentation on Monday, Dec 18.
You will be graded both on the written outline (25%) and oral presentation (20%).
