Enhancing the CBU experience through purposeful co-curricular programming

About Community Life

When you catch a ride with CBU Community Life, you can expect quite a journey. Our main ambition is to create programs that hit on all aspects of your college experience.

Traditional Programs are great places to establish and celebrate friendships.

Commuter Programs provide the opportunity for students who live on and off campus to get together.  Commuter highlights include the Commuter Sidewalk Cafe the first week of every month, free Commuter lunches, and a weekly Commuter Bible Study.

Multicultural and Educational Programs bring the substance to the fun. We have gone to Broadway performances as Les Miserables, Lion King, and Wicked and have brought a drama celebrating African American History to campus.  We also offer discounted tickets to CBU theater productions and the UCO Christmas concert.

Campus Community & Collaborative Programs bring the campus together to enhance programs sponsored by other departments. In these programs, we also seek out opportunities to reach out to the Riverside community. Campus Community programs include such events as the Reaching Out to Riverside, Etiquette Dinners, and fundraisers for International Service Projects.

Outdoor Adventures include trips to local rock climbing gyms, Disneyland, nearby mountains (snowboarding & skiing!), and the beach. We also feature trips to local parks for disc golf tournaments.
