Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership and Student Developement

CBU’s Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership and Student Development program is designed for individuals who aspire to serve professionally within college and university settings. Ideal candidates are those working full-time or part-time in higher education, as well as those seeking to enter the higher education profession. The program curriculum bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world application. Students will be challenged to approach higher education leadership from a multicultural perspective in order to create a comprehensive philosophy of student development.

Program Overview

Over the last 150 years, the American higher education industry has witnessed dramatic surges in college student enrollments. Along with that growth came increased complexity in the operations of higher education institutions. The CBU Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership and Student Development equips candidates with the skills needed to effectively guide college and university programs and personnel toward institutional objectives. The program includes leadership, student development and support courses that prepare students to pursue a career in academic or student affairs as a faculty member, administrator or department specialist.
