Leadership and Adult Learning
This degree is specifically designed for those serving as a consultant or in a variety of career settings who desire to provide leadership and professional development opportunities for colleagues and constituents. Develop leadership skills necessary to bring about personal, professional, and organizational goals and outcomes. The program provides students with the educational skills to improve individual and organizational performance and the best practices for teaching adults. This program recognizes that traditional instructional models are inadequate when it comes to teaching adults and developing their leadership potential.
Leadership and Community Development
This program has been designed to prepare individuals for positions of leadership and service in the global and local community. Graduates of this program will demonstrate the leadership skills and knowledge of the key principles necessary to facilitate transformative change, understand research in order to identify and implement the best leadership practices, and be equipped to practically apply theological principles of the Kingdom of God in community development.
Leadership and Organizational Studies
Leadership is fine work, and those who desire it are to be commended. Unfortunately, exemplary leadership requires more than good intentions, especially now in the age of technological and social complexity and change. Providing effective leadership in these challenging and, at times, chaotic environments is difficult and often overwhelming.
Education with a Specialization in Science Education
Making science relevant and interesting for K-12 students is key to improving student engagement and success in the classroom. In addition, experts in science education are critical to the preparation of students for the undersupplied and competitive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professions.
