About the University:
Founded in 1950, California Baptist University is affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention and is fully accredited.  CBU is the only Southern Baptist college or university on the West Coast.

The campus:
Our 105 acre campus reflects the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.

The facilities:

Our students:
More than 4,100 students attend CBU, coming to Riverside from 39 states and 27 foreign countries.

Our faculty:
California Baptist University currently has more than 340 faculty members (146 full-time), nearly 70 percent of whom hold terminal degrees in their areas of study.  The student-to-faculty ratio is 16-to-1.

Location:
Riverside, California.  Located 60 miles east of Los Angeles, Riverside is a community of 290,000.  Rich in its own culture and history, Riverside is also close to remarkable cultural and recreational opportunities.  Ontario International Airport is about 20 minutes from campus.

Sports:
The Lancers participate in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a member of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) which is made up entirely of four-year Christian colleges in California.
