About the University:
Founded in 1950, California Baptist University is affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention and is fully accredited. CBU is the only Southern Baptist college or university on the West Coast.

Our 128-acre campus reflects the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.

Our faculty:
California Baptist University currently (Fall 2011) has 508 faculty members (196 full-time). Sixty-eight percent of CBU's full-time faculty members hold terminal degrees in their areas of study. The student-to-faculty ratio is 19 -to-1.
Location:
Riverside, California. Located 60 miles east of Los Angeles, Riverside is a community of 290,000. Rich in its own culture and history, Riverside is also close to remarkable cultural and recreational opportunities. Ontario International Airport is about 20 minutes from campus.
Athletics:
The Lancers are currently in the membership process for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and are a member of the Pacific West Conference (PacWest), which is the most geographically diverse conference in Division II with members in Hawaii, the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Arizona and Utah.
