I loved learning about food science in this program and being able to have hands-on experience in the Food Innovation Center. The coursework allowed me to see the many opportunities that I would have with a nutrition degree.

CariAnn Palmer

My nutrition professors have given me incredible opportunities to gain hands-on experience outside of the school walls. I have been a student intern at RUSD's Nutrition Service Department, done research with PhD students at UCR, participated in health screenings, and volunteered with Feeding America. I know that God called me to this major to radically change people's lives and show them the love He has for them.
